It is easy to change the ownership of NTC. You just need to make sure that you have the required documents with you.
How to change the SIM registered/owner name in Ntc?
Sometime you can get it easily done with just the help of government issued ID card like NID, Citizenship , passport or the driving license but sometime you might need to go through the hectic process .
For prepaid Users:
- Visit the Ntc office with your valid identification issued by Government like the Citizenship, Passport, or Driving license (NTA has made it mandatory to carry original citizenship).
- If you are going together with the owner of the sim then you can easily done it with the help of them but if you don’t know who is the owner or your information is wrong then you also need to provide a copy of your ID and identify 5 to 7 called numbers (for the proof of your usage) for validation.
- Fill a “Kabuliyat Nama” form with a photo of yours.
For postpaid users:
- Visit the Ntc office together with the original owner and his/her Nagarikta. Both of you need to provide the Citizenship copy.
- In case the original owner cannot be present, you have to present “Warisnama” and a copy of your Citizenship.
- Fill a form with your photo and then it takes some time to transfer it to your name with some cost.
- If you are transferring ownership of sim registered on the company name, then you need to have the document like the PAN number and registration of both at the NTC office.
