The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has approved the IPO proposal of Mailung Khola Jal Vidhdyut Company Limited. They are going to issue a total of 7,36,286 units.
Mailun Khola Hydropower Company Private Limited is a private company incorporated on 7 Bhadra 2059 (July 23, 2002). This Company was converted into a public company with effect from 6 Bhadra 2071 (22 August 2014) as Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJVCL).
This Company has developed Hydropower Project of 5 MW Mailung Khola in Rasuwa district. The authorized capital of the company is Rs 75 crore. After the IPO issue, its paid-up capital will reach Rs 36.81 crore.
Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company To Issue IPO
Mailung Khola Jal Vidhdyut Company Limited has already issued 3,68,144 unit shares as part of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) and it was for the locals of the project-affected area of the hydropower site. During this IPO, 1,84,072 units were distributed to the most affected local people of Dadagau and Ramche and the rest 1,84,072 units were allocated to less affected local people of Raswa District.
