Previously, Company issued 4,00,000 unit shares to the project-affected locals of Bhojpur District and 80,000 units have  been issued and allotted to Nepalese citizens working abroad. RBB Merchant Banking Limited is the issue manager. 16,000 units have been reserved for the employees of the company and 40,000 for mutual funds.

Chirkhwa Hydropower Limited was established in January 2009. Chirkhwa Hydropower Limited it is developing a 4.7 MW Upper Chirkhwa Khola Hydropower project in the Bhojpur district on run-of-the-river (R-o-R) model.
