Step-by-Step: How to Check Your Voter-List Details Online (Nepal)
STEP 1 — Open the Election Commission Nepal website
Go to: https://election.gov.np
(You can open it on mobile or computer.)
STEP 2 — Go to the Voter List Search Section
On the homepage:
- Look for मतदाता नामावली or Voter List
- Click मतदाता नामावली खोज्नुहोस् (Search voter list)
- If you don’t see it, it may be under the menu Services → Voter Services.
STEP 3 — Select Your Location
You will see dropdown menus. Select exactly:
- Province (प्रदेश)
- District (जिल्ला)
- Local Level: Municipality / Rural Municipality (नगरपालिका / गाउँपालिका)
- Ward Number (वडा नं.)
- Voting/Polling Center (मतदान केन्द्र)
Make sure these match exactly where you originally registered.
STEP 4 — Click “Search” (खोज्नुहोस्)
After selecting the polling station, press Submit / खोज्नुहोस्.
A list of voter names for that ward will appear.
STEP 5 — Find Your Name In The List
You can scroll through the list, or filter alphabetically by the first Nepali letter of your name.
STEP 6 — View Your Full Details
- Click your name.
- Then you may be asked to verify with:
- Date of Birth, or
- Citizenship number, depending on the system.
After verification, you can see:
✔ Your voter ID details
✔ Polling center
✔ Photo
✔ Citizenship-linked information
If Your Name Is Missing or Incorrect
You can update it:
- Go to Pre-Enrollment / Update Voter List page
- Enter your mobile number → receive OTP
- Fill or edit your details
- Submit
- If needed, visit the District Election Office with your citizenship certificate
