Probably the biggest cycling event in Nepal is happening again. Yes, Kora 2023 is back. Event that is rocking Kathmandu for the past 12 years is back again. The event that started in Kathmandu in 2011 is now being adapted by the number of cities in Nepal. The first city to start Kora beside Kathmandu was Pokhara. Kathmandu Kora was started as a charitable event in 2011 with around 35 riders. This year, event organizers are expecting almost 2000 riders in Kathmandu Kora challenge.
Raj Gyawali, the man behind the Kora cycling challenge is expecting more crowds in 2023 edition of the Kora. This year they are fundraising to support the victims of the massive earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
